About Us

JFPC is  located 120 miles southeast of Idaho’s capitol, Boise.  Our congregation is multigenerational.  JFPC has deep roots as the first protestant church in Jerome with worship held in a tent and now worshipping in a building that is over 100 years old.  We joined the ECO denomination early in 2012 desiring its focus on Christ as Savior, the authority of scripture and the emphasis on reaching out beyond the walls of the church to will the gospel message.

Vision, Mission, and Core Values

Training Members for Ministry
We believe all Christians are ministers. They should be encouraged to discover and develop both their natural talents and spiritual gifts and then be empowered to use them in service to Christ.

Mission, Evangelism and Service
Our community is a ripe mission field. It is growing rapidly and one of our most exciting challenges is finding more ways to reach outside our walls to bring the good news of the Gospel and grow God’s kingdom where we live, work, and play.

Children and Youth Ministries
FPCJ has a solid history of ministry to our children and youth. We want these to strengthen and to expand to include children and youth outside of our church.
