Our Missions

JFPC is strongly mission-minded both locally and internationally.  We initiated a church plant in our community, Renew, which is a local coffee shop and center of Christian outreach and still provide support to that ministry.  Recent community outreach includes the 2021 two-weeks of “Camp Cultivate” which focused on teaching the basics of various sports including fly fishing to a less-advantaged kids in our town while sharing the gospel and giving each participant an Adventure Bible that they used during camp. In addition, JFPC supported a youth mission trip in 2021 with leaders and youth traveling to Texas and Mexico to work with a YWAM organization.  Internationally we help support missionaries in Tijuana, OM Worldwide, Ghana, and a veterinarian couple from our own congregation who are currently in Mongolia with VET NET as long-term missionaries.

OM International

Around the world, millions have never had the chance to encounter Jesus, and even in Moldova, many districts have no community of believers to demonstrate Christ’s love to its neighbours. Though every believer is called and uniquely created to pass on the love of Jesus, many do not fully understand the scale of the need or know how to respond.

Together, we help to bring a vision of how each unique individual can fit into God’s big picture.

Renew

Renew is a not-for-profit Christian ministry that exists to see lives transformed and our community renewed.  Our vision is to be a light to our community by offering a public space for building relationships, a safe place for kids and teens, and where special events can take place.  Our goal is to be a catalyst for all types of positive transformation and to share hope by communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
